Tenure-track faculty position available August 21, 2015.  
Responsibilities:  teach introductory undergraduate environmental design and planning courses, including lecture and seminar courses in planning at undergraduate and graduate levels according to individual faculty interests and program needs; keep abreast of recent developments in scholarship and practice in the planning and development field and incorporate into teaching; pursue personal scholarly research and publications; contribute to professional, public and institutional service. 
Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. or terminal professional degree in planning or closely related field, and where at least one degree at baccalaureate, master’s or doctoral levels is in planning; demonstrated promise or experience in teaching at the university level. 
Preferred qualifications:  Ph.D. in planning or related field; AICP membership; professional planning experience with increasing responsibilities; teaching experience and ability to teach a variety of courses; expertise in planning and urban history and theory, land-use law, transportation planning, and/or real estate development; demonstrated or potential for scholarly and/or professional research productivity.
