Coordinator - Donor Engagement, Lyric Opera of Chicago - Chicago, IL

 The Donor Engagement team executes direct-response appeals and communications to support the Fund for Lyric, specifically focusing on two key donor societies, the Friends of Lyric ($50-$4,999) and the Patrons of Lyric ($5,000-$24,999). The Coordinator is responsible for helping retain, grow, acquire, and reactivate contributed support by creating regular cultivation, retention, and stewardship communications, serving donors as a general inquiry contact point for donor engagement questions, and providing project management and administrative support for the Donor Engagement team.

 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Use the Prospect2 design platform and the project management tools Airtable and Ziflow to ensure that all Fund for Lyric email campaigns are executed in step with Lyric’s comprehensive communications plan.
  • Execute Lyric’s monthly renewal notice appeals in partnership with mail house vendor.
  • As part of the Donor Engagement team, carry out quarterly direct mail appeals with our mail house vendor, including data preparation, letter writing, and routing designs for approval; design quarterly social media appeals to accompany direct mail and email communications.
  • Oversee the Development department’s dress rehearsal and working rehearsal operations, including management of all related communication, staff involvement, and day-of coordination.
  • Steward Lyric’s Name a Seat program, ensuring that our database accurately reflects availability, and partner with vendors and Lyric staff to ensure plaques are installed promptly.
  • Pull and upload data for Lyric’s gift matching communications program, Double the Donation.
  • Partner with our external vendor in telefundraising efforts to acquire, retain, and grow our annual donor base.
  • Field donor inquiries as the primary email and phone contact for the Friends of Lyric donor society; work with Donor Records team to process phone and email gifts in a timely manner.
  • Execute routine stewardship communication efforts, including gratitude letters, greeting cards, daily phone calls, and donor impact reports.
  • Attend and assist with department events and donor experiences. This requires working outside of normal business hours. Advance notice is provided, when possible, for planning purposes.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in arts management, marketing, or related field.
  • More than one year or one completed internship with a nonprofit organization.
  • Customer service experience interfacing with donors or customers, building relationships, handling inquiries, and problem-solving.
  • Interest in authentic interactions with donors and teammates.
  • Self-starter with strong project management and organizational competencies with a demonstrated aptitude for multitasking, attention to detail, and meeting overlapping deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Tessitura (preferred) or an equivalent CMS platform.
  • Interest in building relationships and partnerships with external vendors.
  • Personal passion for opera, musical theater, or classical music that can be shared in communicating with donors.
  • A positive, “can do” approach to work.

WORK CONDITIONS:
  • Sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate a computer and handle other office equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally participate in evening and/or weekend duties outside regular business hours.

COMPENSATION:
Job Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Program Engagement Coordinator, Care Access - Remote

Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Loyalty Marketing the Program Engagement Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Care for Friends Ambassador (Patient Referral) Program. This individual will manage program-related email communications, ensure prompt and solution-oriented responses, and assist with problem-solving to meet the needs of program participants. As a liaison between Care Access and program ambassadors, the specialist will provide exceptional customer service to maintain engagement and satisfaction.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming emails and requests related to the Patient Referral Program.
  • Provide clear, solution-oriented communication to resolve inquiries and address issues.
  • Assist in problem-solving to ensure program participants have a seamless experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions in the program database.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address escalations or unusual situations effectively.
  • Support program operations by identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Community Engagement Coordinator, YWCA Metro Chicago - Addison, IL

 Essential Responsibilities


  • Maintain thorough knowledge of early childhood systems and health / human service organizations that impact families.
  • Foster strong relationships with family service agencies to build a pathway for child and family success throughout the YWCA Metropolitan footprint.
  • Liaison bridging childcare, educational systems, and family service agencies inclusive of those that support children experiencing homelessness and children with special needs.
  • Developing an alliance between early education programs, childcare providers, and families
  • Implement and support recruitment and retention strategies to support outreach in YWCA programs.
  • Provide training and technical assistance for new family child care businesses
  • Monitor grant deliverables, enter data and invoices in a timely manner
  • Maintain community calendar and event registration
  • Attend and participate in community events served by early childhood programs to promote recruitment and enrollment in existing programs.
  • May be the intermediately at additional community meetings, collaborations and events as required.

NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in family services, community, and program meetings, as appropriate. Must be Gateways Registry Member within 2 months of employment.

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED: Other duties outside of the responsibilities of the position may be assigned, whether for a project, special needs task or other assignment.

Civic Engagement Coordinator, Wells Fargo - Hybrid (Washington, D.C.)

 About this role:

This position will plan and execute civic engagement activations including in-district events (i.e. roundtables, branch visits, etc.) and virtual townhalls with federal and state elected officials, as well as assisting regional Public Affairs leaders with events to bring the full force of Wells Fargo to the community. Additionally, this individual will ensure the Wells Fargo enterprise wide “Get Out the Vote” plan is executed on a yearly basis.   This position will sit in 1700 K Street, NW in Washington, DC and is required to be in the office 3 days a week.  The Wells Fargo job profile is Government Relations Specialist.


In this role, you will:

  • Work across Government Relations & Public Policy to develop an elected official engagement strategy that includes events such as virtual townhalls, executive roundtables, small business roundtables, and branch visits

  • Responsible for managing events like the ones listed above; this includes developing a calendar and timelines, coordinating schedules, creating invitations, tracking RSVPs, developing briefing materials, sending thank you notes, providing regular updates to the GRPP leadership team, and managing risk

  • Serve on the Public Affairs Strategic Engagement Council which brings the full force of Wells Fargo to the communities in which we live and work

  • Serve as a liaison to some of the Public Affairs regional teams; to include assistance with annual planning, local activations, scheduling regular meetings, developing agendas, servings as the minute-taker 

  • Execute against the enterprise wide “Get Out the Vote” program, which includes content development, managing against a time sensitive email calendar, organizing voter registrations drives, as well as other tasks as needed

  • Develop a pilot Washington DC fly-in program


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Government Relations, Public Affairs or Legal experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience executing organizational change initiatives and concurrent work streams

  • Experience executing planning initiatives for large and/or complex events 

  • Experience working with Local and Federal Government officials

  • Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations

  • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, and influences decision makers

Pay Range
 Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$106,300.00 - $188,900.00
