Race and Equity Coordinator - City of Edina, MN

Who: City of Edina, MN - Department of Administration

What: The Race and  Equity Coordinator is responsible for integrating race and equity principals into all operations, projects and services of the City of Edina.
Essential Functions:
  • Create, lead and manage change to ensure race & equity principles are emphasized as part of Edina's culture and standard operating procedures. 
  • Collaborates with other organizations including, cities, Government Alliance of Race & Equity, and other external groups to in advancing race & equity goals. 
  • Serve as educational and expert liaison to the public, staff and elected and appointed officials. 
  • Partners with staff throughout the organization to develop and provide community outreach in advancement of race and equity goals. 
  • Participates on and often leads cross-departmental teams, work groups and committees established to achieve strategic objectives of the City.

Business Services Analyst II (Planning & Development) - Memphis & Shelby County

Who: Memphis and Shelby County (Tennessee) - Department of Planning and Development

What: The Business Services Analyst is responsible for the review, analysis, and evaluation of processes, systems, and user needs for projects and procedures associated with individual departments or the division; coordinate processes to ensure that the information systems support departmental business operational needs; serves as the first point of contact for coworkers and departmental liaisons regarding the use of designated information systems; gathers data to develop or contribute to the development of business plans and strategies; tracks performance of core business processes associated with individual departments or the division; assist the County IT staff in understanding the operational need for both automated and manual solutions to the business systems and procedures.
