Design Analysis Support Technician - IDOT

Title: Design Analysis Support Technician 

Type: full-time

Location: Springfield, IL

Salary Range: $5,082-$9,309/month

This position is accountable for reviewing construction lettings and plans to gather design details and construction records for mechanistically designed pavement test sections and entering the data into the mechanistic database for tracking maintenance models used in life-cycle cost analyses. In addition, this position is accountable for reviewing performance data to ensure records are complete and are properly added to the performance report. This position is accountable for aiding with field surveys and pavement design analyses to support the Pavement Design Sub-unit in completing its roadway research and pavement management needs

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong written and oral communication skills. 
- Experience reading roadway and bridge construction plans. 
- Ability to maintain professional and harmonious relationships. 
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
