Fundraising Manager, Aspiritech - Hybrid (Chicago, IL)

 About This Role:


$55k/yr - $65k/yr + Bonus


As Aspiritech’s Fundraising Manager, you will be an integral part of our mission-driven team and lead our efforts in growing fundraising income through foundation partners, grant opportunities, and individual donors.


This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong development and fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector who can effectively build and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy and process to drive our mission forward.

This is a hybrid role in the Greater Chicagoland Area. It is expected that more than 90% of the time will be remote but you most have the ability to commute to reliably commute to the Chicagoland Area for fundraising/donor events as needed.


What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute strategic fundraising plans to meet annual targets
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with foundation partners and major donors
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, both private and public
  • Write and submit grant proposals and applications
  • Oversee grant management processes and reporting
  • Ideate and implement donor stewardship programs for small-dollar donors
  • Plan and execute fundraising events
  • Coordinate with marketing team on digital fundraising campaigns
  • Analyze fundraising data and create fundraising dashboards for internal teams, donors, and our board


About you:

  • 3+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong understanding of grant application and management processes (state and federal experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Iterative, data-driven approach to fundraising strategies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in donor management and data analysis tools such as Salesforce and GiveLively
  • Passion for promoting neurodiversity and a commitment to Aspiritech's mission
