Job description:
We are currently searching for freelance contract support from urban designers, architects, landscape architects and digital designers.  Work will be structured on a project by project basis in our Dallas, Texas office.  Work will be fun but challenging, and offers experience and insight to the field of urban design and planning that is often unrealized in a professional planning career. 
Job Responsibilities:
Support Urban Design through visual graphics, sketching, and concept strategies; Produce CAD based drawings utilizing AutoCAD products; Produce 3D models of buildings and streetscapes/context from massing to concept schematics; Work in a team environment to produce work on time and at a high standard of quality
Desired Skills and Experience:
Background in architecture, urban design, landscape architecture or digital imagery; 1-3 years of work experience; Experience and knowledge of architectural design, drafting, building materials, zoning codes and construction techniques; Previous exposure with small to large scale projects – from high-rise to mixed-use, small lot and neighborhood development; Proficiency with AutoCAD and SketchUp as well as experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and MS Office; Strong interpersonal, design and organization skills as well as high attention to detail; Excellent timely, clear and concise written and verbal communication; Ability to work independently and work collaboratively in a team environment; Thrive in a challenging and fast paced work environment; Positive attitude with high energy
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Revit and/or Lumion is a plus; Commitment of at least 30+ hours per week in Dallas office; Test on skill level will be required at interview; Portfolio of work product required; Immediate start date available
