Lassen County is seeking a talented person to serve as a Natural Resource Technician. Located in Northeastern California, Lassen County is the fourth largest county in the state. The incorporated city of Susanville is the County seat, where a community of 10,000 is set in the scenic upper Honey Lake Valley, against a backdrop of forested mountains of the Northern Sierra Nevada and Southern Cascade ranges, and high desert to the east. Experience: Two years experience with computers, data, numbers; modern office experience. Two years experience working in the particular area of the technical job being filled, i.e., two years experience in Real Estate, Community Planning, or Building Departments. Training: Technical classes equivalent to one year beyond high school graduation. Education: A Bachelor's degree in a natural or biological science may be substituted for the required experience. License: A valid California driver's license.
