Who: CoProcure
What: CoProcure is a venture-backed startup on a mission to make government purchasing more transparent, efficient, and inclusive. Our marketplace of cooperative contracts enables public buyers to find, compare, and use competitively-bid contracts from other jurisdictions, saving time and taxpayer dollars and reducing the cost of selling to government for businesses.
We're hiring for our first business role, a business operations manager. Reporting to the CEO, this person will develop and implement the strategies and processes to scale our solution from hundreds of government buyers from 200+ jurisdictions currently using CoProcure to tens of thousands of buyers from across the country.
Local gov spending is $1.5T / year (~7% of total US GDP), and today purchasing work is mainly done via phone calls and emails. We're building CoProcure because we see an opportunity to unlock hundreds of billions of dollars of commercial activity and improve social outcomes - all by transmitting available information better.
