The Strategic Consulting Group complements other Grubb & Ellis services by providing independent advice and direction to clients contemplating any asset type. Changes in ownership, expansions, consolidations, new regulations, procurement, and outsourcing initiatives can have a significant impact on clients’ real estate plans. Internship Description:
Our intern will assist with active client business location assignments and research projects. Our intern will increase his/her knowledge of criteria and methods used in finding the optimal location for a client. This will include demographic data, cost of doing business, accessibility and other client-specific requirements. We will also require research into economic incentive programs including tax credits, new worker training and infrastructure improvements.

Our intern will have an opportunity to interact with state and local economic developers through in-person informational meetings. In these meetings we will discuss economic incentive programs, particular strengths of the region and business relocations.

Other projects may include refining marketing materials and writing case studies, as needed.

Rate/Stipend (if applicable): $12.50/hr

Hours per week: 16 hours per week (additional hours over winter break)
