We are looking for a smart, driven, and creative spatial analyst/urban
planner with great problem solving skills and a positive team-oriented
attitude. You would work on a wide range of domestic and international
projects. Responsibilities would include data development, analysis,
spatial modeling, and general project support.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Geography, Urban Planning or a related
field, or 3 years of professional experience in a related field
Strong working knowledge of common GIS platforms
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Highly organized and most important, highly motivated
Experience/familiarity with Python and SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript and CSS programming languages
Familiarity with emerging web-based and other geospatial technologies,
including openlayers, geojson, GDAL, etc
Experience following or developing database management work flows
Understanding of basic quantitative analysis, data science, and spatial
statistics concepts
