Vice President, Syndication Funding - Cinnaire Corporation

Job Summary: The Vice President, Syndication Funding raises equity capital and manages investor relationships for Cinnaire’s Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) funds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Cultivate new investor relationships and maintain existing relationships.    
  2. Sources new investors in targeted markets and conducts sales pitch meetings.  
  3. Manage distribution of fund marketing materials and offering documents to existing and potential investors. 
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team in the development marketing materials and investor due diligence presentation materials. 
  5. Manage tracking of all investor communications and distributions throughout all stages of investment cycle 
  6. Help create LIHTC funds through collaboration with the business development team and fund operations team.  
  7. Monitor competitive position in LIHTC marketplaces concerning business terms, pricing decisions, investor appetite and legislative changes. 
  8. Represent Cinnaire externally with investors, developers, and industry partners to promote our affordable housing mission and impact. 
  9. Manage proprietary investor relationships and market individual tax credit projects to investors.  
  10. Manage communications with investors and respond to investor inquiries.  
  11. Collaborate with the Cinnaire operations team to coordinate the closing process.  
  12. Establish an understanding of an investor’s goals.  

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate or related fields and 5 or more years of housing, community development, or real estate finance experience. 
  • The ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing with investors, colleagues and external partners representing different disciplines and backgrounds. 
  • A network and relationships with banks and insurance companies focused in the LIHTC space.  
  • 5+ years of experience in LIHTC equity syndication and experience raising capital and managing investor relationships.   
  • An understanding of affordable housing finance and a commitment to Cinnaire's mission of revitalizing communities are necessary.
