Assistant City Planner, City of Edwardsville, Illinois

Who: City of Edwardsville, Illinois

What: Assists the City Planner in developing, managing, and maintaining comprehensive plans and programs for utilization of land and public infrastructure within the city and within one and one-half miles of the City of Edwardsville. Administers and initiates enforcement of all zoning ordinances. Prepares proposed resolutions and ordinances. Prepares and submits grant applications and administers approved grants. Prepares reports for and attends Land Use sub-committee, Ordinance sub-committee, Plan Commission, and Zoning Board of Appeals meetings, as well as other Aldermanic Sub-Committee meetings as necessary.
